The requirements for all Recital sections are 2 or 3 contrasting pieces (excluding concerto movements) within the specified grade.
- Teachers should ensure that the pieces chosen fit these criteria.
- It is the competitor’s responsibility to ensure the pieces entered are the correct level.
Submitted entries do not have to be taken from the AMEB syllabus, but the levels must be equivalent to the AMEB grade for each section.
In all Recital sections, the duration of performance may be less than the time specified but not more.
Competitors are permitted to enter one recital section only per instrument.
