We recognise that performers who don’t play piano can find it more challenging to enter the RCC if they need to find a collaborative pianist to accompany them, since pre-recorded accompaniments or backing tracks are not allowed.
While we don’t provide an official accompanist, we do have a list of WAMTA piano accompanists / collaborative pianists that you can contact.
Please ensure that you / the accompanist have original copies of the accompaniment parts. A copy of the accompanist’s part must be provided together with the AMCOS forms when you arrive for your section.
