The Recital & Concerto Competition relies on the generosity of sponsors and volunteers to run each year, and we are very appreciative of their support. We’ll be introducing a number of them to you in coming weeks as we acknowledge their continued involved with us as we enter our 100th year!
One of our newer sponsors is flute and piano teacher Rebecca Guy, who kindly sponsors an award for an Outstanding flute performance in any section.
Rebecca’s dedication to providing opportunities for flute players extends beyond the classroom, founding WA Classical Musical Connect and organising initiatives such as the WA Flute Day and the WA Flute Competition. Rebecca directs the UWA Flute Choir and is the visionary behind the Tutti Flute Ensemble, where she fosters a supportive and inclusive environment for flutists of all levels to come together and make music.
